VAA is an agency that not only represents a diverse talent roster, but also develops, produces, packages, and sells various formats of unscripted media. VAA has brought together agents and an owner with 20+ years of knowledge and success in the industry with highly rated and acclaimed shows such as: “The Osbournes” (MTV), “Workaholics” (Comedy Central), “R5 Sons Alaska” (Hulu), “Cabo” (VH1), “Baker Boys” (HDNet), and much more. “The Osbournes” was MTV’s highest rated series and most watched show on cable when it debuted, becoming a groundbreaking leader in the field of unscripted tv. It was a show that set the standard for what was to be the first wave of reality tv shows that launched the 21st century TV boom. “The Osbournes” series went on to win the second-ever Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program.
VAA was created by Cal Boyington, an elite industry leader in unscripted television. Cal, a former highly successful agent, with agencies from ICM to Paradigm, took his 25 years of knowledge and achievements to build an agency. An agency that’s core values are to represent and promote the every day lives of passionate people. Thus giving them a platform through media, to expand their lives and help others. VAA is about giving freedoms to producers and talent to be unedited, real.
